MindLab is an innovative educational programme which uses games as learning tools to teach children thinking skills. MindLab significantly improves children's performance on standardised maths, verbal and problem solving tests, according to research from Yale University (Green and Gendelman 2003 and 2004). Although the programme uses games that children love to play, it is structured around a carefully designed curriculum that develops thinking skills in children by teaching: Problem solving, decision making, memory training, mathematical thinking, logical thinking, spatial thinking, research methods, scientific thinking, probability studies and planning and execution. MindLab also teaches children a wealth of social skills and emotional intelligence skills through the game experience and face-to-face interaction with their peers.
