Games teach children life skills, thinking, social and emotional skills

Schools love MindLab; the MindLab programme puts the child at the centre of all learning activities and engages them where they are most receptive and enthusiastic - through games.

The MindLab programme uses games as a focus and catalyst to teach children life skills such as thinking skills, social skills and emotional skills which compliments and enhances the school curriculum.

We could immediately see the benefit of integrating MindLab into our curriculum to enhance our school focus on teaching thinking skills. Its great strength is that it is the most practical way to teach thinking skills, through what appears to be play, but is in fact instruction and guided learning

Very quickly I felt it had the same sort of "magic" as Montessori: wonderful quality games, well researched and chosen from different cultures, dynamic, enthusiastic teachers to link between the games and the child, an amazing philosophy behind it that nurtures independence, confidence and self discipline in the child.

MindLab offers children a great experience to learn how to function really well in a peer group. The children truly learn life skills that will effect them for the rest of their life.
