Franchise business working with schools
A MindLab franchisee operates their business in a specific contiguous geographical territory. The size of their territory is determined by a cluster of approximately 30 specified primary schools. These schools are the prime sources of MindLab students.
A franchisee offers MindLab classes for a fee of £7.50 per hour to a variety of students in a mix of services which could include:
- After school MindLab classes covering a two or three year age band per class. Classes could be offered in a range of locations convenient for parents such as school classrooms, village halls, community centres and other public facilities.
- MindLab classes offered within the school day in coordination with schools, to compliment the curriculum or provide special projects.
- MindLab classes integrated into crèche or after school clubs.
- MindLab classes within nursery school programmes, helping to prepare 4-5 year olds for school entry.
- MindLab classes within nursing homes, hospitals, museums or anywhere a fee paying or grant based programme would work.
- Holiday courses in Christmas, Easter, half term and summer break periods
Depending on the amount of hours a franchisee wishes to teach themselves and the number of MindLab classes that run in parallel, MindLab franchisees will require additional teachers to cover some of their MindLab classes each week. For example, in a school partnership, a number of MindLab classes may be run simultaneously in the hour long after school club slot.
MindLab Europe will support the franchisee and their team of teachers with initial product training as well as business development support and ongoing training.
